A family-run bar since 2000, Markie Dans is an institution. Over the years our bar has become very popular with visitors and locals too… is there a better test of what a pub really is? We think not! We’re entirely family-friendly (yes, including the dog!) and have a great selection of single malts - one of the largest in Argyll, with over 100 to choose from, there is one for everyone!

We offer a great selection of local beers, delicious food, a pool table, Sky and BT sports, late licenses, live music, drink promos, and a licensed beer garden with beautiful views over the bay.

Here at Markie Dans, we have an annual festival held at the pub, famously called the Markie's Music Fest, where we host some of the finest local Scottish acts about. If you are travelling from further afield, we have you covered with accommodation with our upstairs guesthouse, Corran House, so you can stay close and keep the party going!
